I would like to ID this deciduous vine and the new growth has been pushing up the last 3 weeks so there are now small leaves to look at. I was gifted 2 and was told they might be japanese honeysuckle, but I don't see them matching any pictures I have looked at on the internet. Deciduous, exfoliating bark, aerial roots, red new growth, compound leaf -odd pinnate with 7 leaflets that start at red but are now turning green, Survives zone 8 in Vancouver B.C.

Could it be a porcelain berry vine? - Ampelopsis glandulosa?

As the leaves are starting to be more developed I am considering it to be Campsis.time will tell.

still wondering what this is. The plant has not bloomed yet and all Campsis in the neighbourhood have
. I guess I will wait until nest year.
