I bought this cactus one month ago and it was very green in color, now its getting yellow starting from the roots and heading to the ends.

please help me, what should i do.

during this month i watered it twice using the water bottle cap as they told me at the shop.

And can you tell me which type of cactus i have?

    Thanks in advance:)

I don't know what it is, but it is not a cactus.
"Using the water bottle cap", does that mean that it got one cap (= a few millilitres) every 14 days?

that is not cactus!!!!!!!!!! so the shop lied to me :(

he told me that is cactus and to water it few drops every 15 days, so i used water bottle cap once every 15 days.

do you recommend watering it more?

I recommend that there is drainage to this tin pot, in the event that the soil is wet or soggy from any possibility of overwatering…

It looks as if it should have have more water than what you have been giving it, even if I don't know much about non-cactus succulents. It is an old myth that succulents need almost no water. It is also possible that it is sick, it is hard to tell from the pictures.

As said, the pot must have drainage. How much it should be watered depends on your climate and what species it is.
