Yes, definitely worth adding; it also takes a sensible taxonomic viewpoint, not going for those ridiculous lumps by 'Dr.' E. Murray.

Edit: the site covers other genera as well, and (sadly) I found a few errors in their Pinus photos (e.g. their 'P. heldreichii' is P. mugo, and their coning branch of 'P. strobus' is P. wallichiana or P. × schwerinii). So the maples could contain errors too.

There's also this very complete site (in French) that I regularly browse for info:

    Tous les érables

Yes, the links look worthwhile for adding to the resources page.

For any who are not sure about how to add links, just click the "add entry" button on the second bar from the top of the resources page and fill out the form. Links may need to be approved by a mod, please be aware of the following advice:

The helardot pages are indeed very useful, thanks for the reminder Alain.

Thanks Maf, I actually never spotted the "add entry" button! Done.

Michael, without biting too hard, :), do you really consider that A laxiflorum shouldn't be under pectinatum?

I'm not familiar with those two, so can't comment on them. But Acer lobelii should absolutely not be included in A. cappadocicum, and A. ginnala should not be included in A. tataricum ;-)

Yes, your view on those are well known! (spitting out hook and swimming away lazily...) :)
