    Hi,

We're trying to clear out a section of garden in our back yard. While pulling up bleeding hearts and other assorted weeds we came across a bunch of garlic, but we had ripped off all the above ground growth before we realized it. We want to do a small vegetable garden and are wondering if we can save the garlic somehow. Can I just replant the bulbs? Or should I store them and wait until the fall to replant?

In the front yard, the lovely deer who visit chomped off a bunch of my beautiful tulips. I would normally just leave the bulbs be but don't want to lose the flowers to the deer again next year. Should I dig the bulbs up now and store for replanting in another part of the garden in the fall (where deer are less likely to dine)? Or do I wait for the leaves to die?

    Thanks!

Definitely wait until the leaves die back.

    Thanks, I will.

Any advice for the garlic? We ripped off the leaves without realizing it :(
