Since it's rare for plants in different genera to get the same
disease I'd say the condition is physiological. For example were
the plants allowed to sit in standing water or perhaps there's
a build up of fertilizer salts or tap water minerals in the soil.
    Monstera deliciosa
    Ficus lyrata (I think)
    Ficus maclellandii 'Alii'
    and possibly Pachira aquatica.

So, rinsing the soil what be a good option? How do you best do that with plants of this size? Should i cut them back too?

I would re-pot in fresh bark or coconut husk based potting mix and water
with rainwater if you think your tap-water may have hardness, salt
or other minerals that can damage plants (I.E. fluoride). Cut back only
    to shape.

Only if you damage them while repotting or if you find signs of decay (typically foul odors or mushy roots).
