The Maple Society has now a Facebook Page http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages/The-Maple-Society/193719400670462?v=wall, you are all welcomed to visit and 'like' it. Gomero
I do not have a facebook account (yes, I am the lone holdout!). Is there a way to set the page so that it can be viewed by the general public?
Paxi, Jump in the pool, man! :) Really, you don't have to post a lot of personal info on Facebook to have an account. Mine has almost nothing, and no pictures. I use a cartoon for my "photo".
I don't have a Facebook account and I can see the page.....or am I only seeing part of what is there? Other occasions when people have linked to Facebook I have not been able to view the link at all.
Kaitain4 I don't think its the information you give them, as much as the information they glean inside your computer when your logged in on their site, that stops people from signing up. Maf, When I go to the link it tells me I have to be logged in to see the page.
That is what I half expected to see, but I am allowed to view the page for some reason. I can see 3 pages, "Wall", "info" and "photos", maybe there is more to see if you are a member?
For those non members of Facebook who are having trouble viewing the page, try this link instead: http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Maple-Society/193719400670462?v=wall I have manually cleaned up the address a little, which I think my browser was doing automatically. See if that helps.
