Fun pic - shirt looks cool Joey, kinda psychedelic.

Anyway, the participation in this thread is just great. More pics, please...

    : )

Me, when I was little. I was just scanning this pic this weekend to send to my grandmother, and my mom flipped out because I had to take apart her portrait to get at it! All was well and I put it back together again satisfactorily.

If anyone wants to show a pic of themselves as a child, feel free. It would be fun to see people when they were young and innocent.

Lorax, was your hair as white as mine? I remember you saying you were practically an albino yourself!

I'll have to see if I can get some kid pics when I go home in the next couple weeks. Although, I am still innocent ;-)

Oh that is just adorable Vic!

I can see it's you, by the eyes. How cute.

I love seeing child pics of people. You can see how much they've changed - or not. Plus it's great to see people when they were young and easy, just starting out.

Yes, back garden, fountain behind/in front of me.

No baby pics as a house fire consumed all in the '70's

    Hello Dana..
Sorry your lost all your pics ( it would kill me) I have ALL and EVERYTHING updated in digital forma and all my originals in 300.000+ paper photos in Albums of 300 each in several metal trunks in the garage. Lucky many years ago a factory went bust in Hong Kong and they manufactured lovely book like albums. SO bought nearly a truck load :-) for near to nothing I think it was 50cents per album. Then one winter (when my granny stayed over from Europe every winter 3-5month) She and I many evenings put them in the books it was a FAB time as each photo was sort of discussed and why and where and who she looooved it and so did I.

Thannk's for the Camera thread link? Sorry did I ask about this? Maybe someone else maybe did. And Yes focusing on bright and dark can be a challenge with digital cameras. backlit problems is easy just FORCE the "fill in flash" most cameras have setting for that.
Most difficult is when its in macro. A Rule the smaller the camera the less I use it at night I can take high res dark lit macros with my 8080 Olympus SLR no problem my 10MP Samsung would have a lot of noise.

HL Yea children pics can be cute..but I try to stay away from them ONLINE especially as we all know what others can do with them...A good friend of mine had all her children pics that I took of them during a BBQ playing naked in playing in a mini stand up plunge pool in the garden she put them all on a open Facebook I was horrified and told her to remove them a.s.a.p...Did you hear the horror photo story in USA where they took the kids away because of a few bathing pictures developped at Walmart shop... where is the world going????

Anyway I even have my mom and grand father 1876 baby pics etc :-) I guess you are not so interested in those haha. Thanks for the compliments

Here a few shots of Autumn in Vancouver downtown how about your areas ?
That would be nice to see some flaming trees. Anyone ???

    Thanks Vic,
Actually seeing baby photos from 1800's would be ultra cooll!

Below, a random pic I took while in my local park that I like because of the colours, light and spacious feeling in spite of it all being full.

Thank you Hollyberry, on the right side of the picture over my left shoulder is the dwarf key lime I was telling you about. I have to keep it heavily pruned to bring it indoors because of the long spines.

Oh you mean the one you were going to mail me a cutting of? Yes, it is lovely.

Btw, you can still call me Sherr or Sherry, if you want to, Bob. The people here are pretty nice, and very knowledgeable like yourself, about plants. It will take some time to get to know the forum, but feel free to ask any questions. We always like to help.

What's the weather like in Jersey right now?

Hi Sherr, that's the one. Unlike yourself I have been able to restrain myself from poking , tugging or doing anything untowards to the 3 cuttings that are still surviving. I have to guess that after these several weeks that there are some roots forming but I'll wait a suitable amount of time before giving them a check. Right at the moment it's 54 F outside my kitchen window and 53 on the sensor that is out in the garden. Funny how the temps can vary especially during the winter months in certain microclimates like that. Sometimes as much as 4 or 5 degrees! What's the weather up in zone 5 I wonder?

Cigar bought back memories. Dad a proffesional gardner / nursery man always had one lit or unlit. Reason ...... smoke kept the mossies away (mosquitoes)!!!!!!! yeh right. :) By the way welcome.
Glorious spring day about 28 C. We had a huge dump of thunderstorm last night and every thing is green and washed, hope it lasts for a bit longer before the promised summer scorch,

    Liz
