I've had this clemetis for 9 years, it was given to me when my dear neighbour passed on, she had it for many years prior to that. I have been unable to identify it at websites dealing with various Clemetis. She had told me that it was a Jackmanii, but searching that variety I was unable to find a match, could anyone out id this variety for me, thank you.

Well, do you think it is a Vyvyan Pennell or not?

I googled Vyvyan Pennell and the pictures that come up have the same coloring but not the few number of pedals that mind has, I can also see the center of mine, where as in the VP it is totally covered.

My husband reminded me with a little more info regarding this plant, it blooms double blooms in early summer and then has single blooms later towards Sept. With this info I think it may be the variety called "Royalty" I checked the following website.http://www.classicclimbers.com
