Identification: Need help identifying this indoor plant

    I love this plant but have been unable to identify it. I almost lost it to spider mites but it is thriving now. Can you help identify it?

    might be a croton.

    Sure looks like a Croton to me, but there's so many different types so I can't help further.

    Croton, yes, but rather a bizarre one...

    I've seen some Crotons do this - it looks like it's pupping new plants off the tips of its old leaves. If you trim those and pot them out, you should get more of the same plant.

    could the longish leaves on the main plant be due to not enough light?

    i've never grown croton so i don't know what the light requirements are...some cacti and epi's will develop funky leaves when they don't get enough light. i'd think the same would apply to other plant types, as well.
