native plant central ontario

    This plant is 1 to 1.5 metres high, not woody, in a wet open area and has a long (empty) bean pod. The stems are quite fibrous and mostly hollow.

    Sorry, too blurred to tell. I suspect it'll need re-visiting in summer anyway, when it has some foliage and flowers.
