This year it started to grow many new vines from spring, recently I noticed lot of the new leaves curled outward.       <content:encoded><![CDATA[We have a well established green grape vine in our yard.  The grapes are deliciously sweet and tart.  The trunk is 8-10 inches in diameter.  For most of its life the vine was hidden and held up by a large cedar hedge.  Last year we removed the hedge and build a large arbour to support it, 12&#039; x 17&#039;.  What would you put under the arbour?  Would sand and stones kill the vine?  Are there certain plants that would help maintain the heath of the vine? We bought it at a nursery, but I don&#039;t know what variety it is.<br />

I&#039;m wondering if this is a normal characteristic of this variety or if my Interlaken vine has some kind of problem that affects its productivity. It is a delicious table grape.  The berries also have a pronounced flowery &quot;Muscat-type&quot; aromatic profile that carries through in wines made from it. <br />

I put a small rose bush on the bottom as do in South Africa, they say if the roses will grow the soil is ok for grapes. It has at least 21 degrees cold resistance (its in really good condition after last year cold winter in poland)and its quite resistant to fungal diseases.<br />

      <title>Monukka Grape Vine Source?</title>

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Doing some web searching I saw an old thread here mentioning Monukka grape vines, someone in Canada was growing them. I can&#039;t find any to buy, I&#039;m actually on the East coast of the country, in zone 6a. I&#039;d like to find a plant or some cuttings. If anyone is growing them, please tell me where you got them, the garden centre or grower, so I can get in contact with them.<br />

I&#039;ve looked into US suppliers, they are easy to find for this grape there, and I may be ordering a bunch next year--now they...<br />
