I have a Yukka plant that is 5 years old and is approximately 4ft. tall. It has a single stem. We need to cut it down and are not sure how to do it. Would appreciate your help.

    Thank you

What do you want to get rid of it completely?

Well in that case just cut it off just below the desired height and new growth will appear soon, probably spring and you can replant the crown if you like, for another plant to keep or swap. Good luck
