    Unidentified Wild Tropical Plant in Northeast Florida

    I'm aware this is probably the wrong region for this post but your members seem very active and interested and I've got nowhere else to turn. I live in Northeast Florida near the water and found thie plant photgraphed below growing wild in a vacant lot behind my home. I'd like to transplant it into my home and keep it as an inside plant. It seems to some variation of tropical palm plant? Click the photos below for larger versions:

    It appears to be a Yucca, perhaps Y. filamentosa.
