Hi I think these little guys are good for my Citrus but I want to make sure. I've found several crawling around my citrus trees and I've notice that on one of my citrus trees something has been munching on the new leaves.

This is a photo of the bug I found on my plant

hmm maybe? I read a bit on that page (thank you) and it said the Asian lady beatle has different colors , spots etc so it's highly likely my little visitor is one.

Nothing mentioned about whether they eat leaves or not but it does say it eats pollen and it was inside one of the blossoms.

I was told that it is a lady bug when she has a white collar. This seems to be true for the red variety.
Is it also true for the yellow ones?

"Lady Bug" is a catchall term for a number of small beetles, some of which are predatory and others of which eat plants. The test for the friendly, aphid-eating ladybirds is to look for the white collar, but it doesn't hold true for the yellow ones or really any other "lady bug" beetle.
