I bought a wisteria today but it had 2 tags. The grower's tag said 'Wisteria floribunda longissima alba' and the white flag price tag said 'Wisteria floribunda Texas White'. As far as I know 'Texas White' is a w.sinensis. The nursery employees have no idea why it has two tags, nor can they tell me what the plant actually is. Does anyone know if there is something that can help me identify the plant, other than the length of the flower racemes ?

Problem solved - I called administration and they confirmed that it is a longissima alba. Now I can bring it home.

Double-tagged, second one being put on by mistake.
