Nymphaea odorata or White Fragant Water Lily.

I toured and camped north of Hwy 17 near Elliot Lake ON for five days and found many ponds covered with this beautiful lily. It fully opens about one hour after full sun exposure, and stays open for about eight hours. Apparently the yellow one is also present, but I didn't enounter any.

Thanks for posting that! Those are lovely. I have several yellow in my pond, as well as purple. I had one white one that was overtaken by papyrus so I don't know if it's still viable down below.

I had one pink bloom earlier this summer. I hope to have a plethera of blooms as you show only in white, yellow, purple and pink!

Thanks again, I really enjoyed it.
