    Hi all,

I spotted a couple of these trees, and it's been bugging me trying to figure out what they are. Fruits are about the size of a small lemon, fuzzy, covered in a tacky/sticky resin that has an almost pine sap like scent to it. Would appreciate your help in identifying.

    Cheers,

    Fergus

Ditto to a walnut Juglans; either J. cinerea or J. ailantifolia.

If you want to know which of those two, you can post a photo of the bark; maybe we can tell from that. I think the fuzzy fruits are J. cinerea - is the bark greyish?
