   This guy sprouted in my Rosmarinus officinalis pot, which sits on a backyard deck in Scarsdale, New York, USA, about three weeks ago. I repotted it, below. The leaf in the background is about 11 cm x 4 cm. Can someone please help me identify this guy?

   Looks very much like a wild ginger, Zingiberaceae. Does the foliage have a ginger-y scent?
