what kind of rose is this?

    is it rambler, tea or whatever.
    I barely know a rose from a thistle of course...
    but we would like to know how to prune it.
    2014/15 winter we were away in fall and spring so it was saved from our pruners.
    same last winter and it grew huge. now 6 feet high and definitely thriving!

    Yes, but with thousands of rose cultivars in existence, unless someone has that exact one it is a difficult task. Pruning, though, is usually an early spring job.
