I found a plant put out beside someone's house, with a "free" sign beside it, last night. Sorry, I don't have any pics of it yet, but I need to know what it is and how to care for it. I think it might be some sort of palm, but it doesn't have the thick base of a ponytail. The leaves are long and narrow, like a ponytail's, but are quite dark green with a large white stripe down the middle, and some smaller striping parallel to that. If anyone can help me with this, it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks, people :)

Yes, you're right. It is a dracaena variegatis. I took a leaf that had broken off to a local plant store, and they confirmed it for me. Thanks very much for your help.
