Have any of you heard of a variety of English laurel that is a light green, almost lime green? I took it to the local garden center and they said it was the usual english laurel but it is right next to some wild english laurel and they are darker. I don't know if the difference in colour will come out in the photos but if anybody has any idea as to the reason or variety that makes it lighter in the same location as other laurels I would appreciate it. The first two pictures are of it and the last picture is the english laurel beside it. The regular english laurel leaves are thinner looking, darker and less shiny. The lime green colour looks so nice in front of the Holly trees I would like more of them and don't know what to ask for.
    thanks for your help
