Im spending my spring break visiting all the gardens i can and the first stop was Krohn Conservatory in Cincinnati. I kind of went overboard with the bromeliads but they're my favs and i cant help myself. The floral room was closed so that was kind of a bummer. They're setting up for the butterfly exhibit so i may swing back there next week. Also sadly the bonsai collection was kind of disappointing. It's always changing as private collectors donate their trees for certain periods of time and it just didnt stand up to some of the better collections they've had. But overall its an awesome collection, plus its in the middle of Eden park within walking distance of the art museum. It's so easy to spend an entire day there in any season.
I actually found the little yellow flower in the second pic next to a dumpster behind the parking lot. Goes to show you can find beauty anywhere.
