British Columbia: Vancouver (Cherry) Tree Talk and Walks, April 2-10

    Five "Talk and Walk" events have been organized by the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival. The idea is that knowledgeable guides will point out the ornamental cherries and help you learn to identify them. There is no guarantee the cherries will actually show up for these events, but previous years' talks/walks have always been interesting.

    There is no charge for these walks, and registration is not required.

    • April 3, 2011, Sunday, 1:00pm to 2:30pm
    Tree Talks and Walks in the West End and Downtown, led by Wendy Cutler
    • April 6, Wednesday, 1:00pm to 3:00 pm
    Tree Talks and Walks UBC, led by Douglas Justice
    • April 9th, 2011, Saturday, 10:00am to 11:30am
    Tree Talks and Walks Stanley Park, led by Bill Stephen
