    Thank you!

    P.S. We are terribly sorry to the mods whom had to delete our multiple linking posts we previously posted in all the threads. So here’s a separate thread just for the links itself!

    Hi luckyinspiration,

    Is this a school project?

    As you may have gathered from the responses so far to your ID requests, more information is needed about the fungi you are asking about.
    For example, it is important to know the type of spore-producing surface (gills, pores, teeth, etc), typically located on the underside of the cap/shelf.

    Depending on the nature/purpose of your project, you may be well served to revisit your specimen locations during the season these fungi appeared, and take detailed notes of appearance, habitat, smell and so forth.

    More information about characters used to identify fungi can be found here:

    cheers,

    @frog:

    yes it is.

    Sadly, we don't think that the fungi may not be there where we had spotted them previously, which is around last year; in addition to unpredictable weather conditions in the forest and the absence of seasons here in Singapore (it's a tropical climate all year round), as well as other interferences (e.g. manmade: people going in, its actually an open trail inside a foresty area).

    apologies but thanks for your informative replies for quite a few of them so far!
