sun burn on hibiscus

    please can any one help .after christmas in wales uk ,we had a lot of sun not expecting sun burn on my hibiscus plants, recently I moved them is to my conservatory is their anything i can do. they are losing their leaves and wilting is it best to cut them back to stop them dying thanks for any surgestions malcolm ps. they are tropical hibiscus

    Don't cut stems that haven't burned and shriveled. Otherwise the plants will have lost stem tissue in addition to leaves.

    Position plants in the most suitable location of your hot house, and be patient, this is not the time of year to use drastic pruning techniques, until daylight hours are at least 12 hours a day...think tropics...minimum daylight hours are approximately 11-12 per day...
