    Does anyone know where I can acquire somerset vines in BC or elsewhere? looking for a good table grape or for raisins
    eastern okanagan/boundary @ 2000-2200 ft zone 4b/5a

    Somerset is very new to Canada,. The supply is limited. There are a few guys trying it in the Okanagan. It's a nice grape with hardiness btween -25F to -30F. Where are you located in ther Kootenays- Boundary region.

    I know the area quite well. I lived in Kelowna for over 20 years. I did a lot of work with table grapes there. You could try Trollhaugen, Somerset, Summersweet and some of the other hardier table grape that would certainly be worth trying there.

    Have a look at these websites it's good if you want to think about growing grapes in colder regions
