In The Garden: Smells like earl grey tea

small long dark green waxy leaves
small clusters of yellowish green flowers with yellow centres
shrub is about 3 feet tall
it smells in the evening of earl grey, so i thought it was bergamot
everything i have found that is bergamot looks nothing like this.

 

"Daphne laureola subsp. philippi (Dwarf Spurge Laurel)?
