Should I pull this?

    This volunteer appeared in my yard in Portland, OR. Can anyone identify it for me? It is thornless and hairless.

    Thanks so much for your response. I hope that you are correct as it is a native species and I would like it to grow here. I just have to be sure no one eats it.
