I have a 5 year old Pinus parviflora Yatsubusa tree. I am going to usr it for a bonsai.
What I need to know what time of year can I put it into a 4 inch plastic tube in order to create a root over rock. I know that this process will take about 5 to eight years. I have several jbp in process and am about to get 4 ponderosa that are well aged. I would like any help on root over rock.
    Thanks,
    Bob
