Renamed: moving Haskap bushes

    I have two five yr old Penaske bushes. When can I move them ?

    "Penaske" is not a word known to search engines. Do you have photos, including close up of the leaves and flowers or fruits? And one of the whole bush?

    Yeah, I have no idea what this is, either. I've tried phonetic variations with no luck.

    Any shrub in your area should be dormant, so it is probably a good time to transplant if there are no soft new growth or flower buds anticipated. Root structure is another matter. Some plants that grow in colonies may not be viable when cut off from the more established parent plants (as in blueberries). And some don't like to be moved at all, as with lilac.

    Is this a traditional name, or a cultivar, or a fruit bearing shrub? If you can't provide pics or links, we need other ways to identify the plant you are asking about.

    HASKAP ! is the name. Where I got the word Penaske Idont know !

    I moved mine late this summer. Won't know if they survived until spring.
