Red knots on grape vine/white bumps on both sides of leaves

    I have something on my grape leaves that are white bumps on both top and bottom. These occur where there are red knots in the vine itself and sometimes on what seems to be the start of a cluster of grapes. I cannot find it on the internet nor does my garden center know what it is. Can someone pls. help me? Thanks

    Maybe a kind of insect gall. If you can, give us a photo to aid in ID.

    Hi, if you look on the post below that says pics of grapes from above, they are posted. If not, let me know and now that I know how to do it I will post them but I just looked at that post, and if you look at the replies you will see a picture of the knot and also the bumps on the leaves. Thanks

    I hope you get this. I am posting the pics again. I will add that the first time I noticed these, there were huge numbers of black aphids on the undersides of the newest leaves where these bumps were. The ones that are there now have no aphids. Also these bumps are few and far between.
