Anyone growing these species rhododendrons? Picked one of each up at the Species Garden and love them, trying to site it appropriately in the garden. How much sun can they handle?

Anyone have any photos of flinckii? the specimen I have is very dark leaved, with orange powdered residue when new buds open (not indumentum, but the other word I forget ...) None of the photos I see online of flinckii resemble this specimen at all.
