   If I plant a crapemyrtle next to a sidewalk will the flower remnants stain the concrete once they drop? If so, is the stain easily washed off or not?

   I've never known them to stain, but they do litter quite a bit. You'll find colorful individual blossoms fall while the tree is still in bloom, so you may have to sweep more.
