plum tree branch dying

    hi all.....i have a plum tree problem. a couple of the branches on the tree seem to be dying. the leaves are curling up and going brown. there does not seem to be any insects inside the leaves. i attached two pics.....one healthy looking branch and one of the dying branches....thanks in advance...........

    Bacterial canker or similar pathogenic infestation, very common on stone fruits in this region. Not nearly as bad on plums as on apricots, which are frequently riddled with dead twigs, but is still sometimes seen on them - as you have discovered.
