I have tried to put this plant to death in my backyard started by others for about eight years now. I have never allowed one of these plants to mature as I know that I never planted it. I have decided to let this mature for identification purposes. Its determination to survive tells me it is invasive. Those Blue Bell like globes of flowers are about 75 mm across and kind of attractive. Do I need to kill this plant or is it OK to have in garden? I do not appreciate any plants trying to control the garden.

I want to thank everyone that helps me identify the plants I do not know over the years I have been a member. I thought I knew a lot about plant ID but I am humbled at how little I actually know about this. Many of my friends and neighbours come to me for advice on what to do about this or that in their gardens and when I don't know I get the answers here. Thanks very much!

    Thanks,
