    Hi,

I have a willow that's about 6 years old, this year we noticed that on the branches there is a lot of little black bugs and there is a lot of bee's around it. these bee's get very aggressive if you go near the tree. i don't want to lose this tree but i have no idea what to do with it. someone please let me know what I can do. this tree means alot to my family, a dear friend rooted it from another tree just for us.
    thank you for any help
    Kelly

A good hard frost will get rid of the 'little black bugs' (probably aphids). Whether they'll come back next summer is up to chance. Hanging a bird feeder nearby might help - birds waiting in the queue for the feeder will eat the insects.
