    Hi,

My Dogwood tree which I have had now for 4 years has some type of green fungus on it. Last year it was on the trunk of the tree and a few branches. I just wiped it off with warm water with a little dish soap. And it did great after. It had a lot of blooms on it. But now it is covered again and worse. I'm scared this time it might have caused harm to it. Does anyone know why it is doing this, and what I might be able to try.

Thanks so much for trying to help me.

    Joanne

Sound like something harmless like algae or lichens.
