My cousin, who lives in CA posts lovely plant pictures on facebook frequently. This was a recent picture that many of us would like to identify.

What a lot of names this thing has, or has had:

    From Tropikos:
!Clerodendrum myricoides (Hochst.) R. Br. ex Vatke (not sure what the "!" means)
    Cyclonema myricoides (Hochst.) Hochst.
Rotheca myricoides (Hochst.) Steane & Mabb., mentioned by David in L A, noted by Tropikos as the accepted name
    Siphonanthus myricoides (Hochst.) Hiern
    and on Wikipedia
Clerodendrum ugandense Prain, mentioned by Tyrlych
    Spironema myricoides Hochst. (basionym)
In the 2003 posting by Douglas Justice, in the thread Daniel linked to
    Clerodendrum myricoides 'Ugandense'

Somewhere in there it changed family from Verbenaceae to Lamiaceae, or maybe it's still also in Verbenaceae.
