    First is a rose Rosa.
Second is something in the family Lamiaceae, perhaps Henbit Deadnettle Lamium amplexicaule.

Number 1 is rose hips, could be a species, could be a hybrid or cultivar. Can't really tell exactly without seeing the flower.
Number 2 is something in the Lamiaceae, probably a Lamium, possibly L. amplexicaule ( http://www.botanicalstockphotos.com/img10900.htm )
Number 3 is rather out of focus and not really at the ideal angle for viewing. Just guessing form what I can see, it may be a Penstemon.

    #3 isn't a penstemon... Perhaps it's one of those open-faced snapdragons?

Thank you so much for the replies! I checked #2 in Hitchcock's manual to Lamium amplexicaule and it was a match :). I'm still not sure what number 3 is though... I've attached a side view though if it helps?

Ditto, open faced Snapdragon. No idea why breeder felt the need to mess up a perfectly nice blossom that way.
