Hello. I am hoping someone can help me identify a shrub found along a trail in Port Moody. The leaves are tough, and it has hairy stems. The size is about 5 ft tall and wide.

    Thanks

Gaultheria shallon, salal. Very common native plant. The foliage is used for florist greenery. The berries are edible, not as tasty as many, but not bad.
