I bought this six years ago from Girard Nurseries in a 3 gallon nursery container and decided to grow it as bonsai. This variety is considered rare and a super dwarf when not grown as bonsai. By ACS size standards it would be classified as Miniature growing less than 1" a year. The needles are less than 1" long. As bonsai the candles are about .5" each spring. Most needles now are .33" to .75".
