I've been hearing that pig manure is the latest and greatest??? Does anyone know the name of the supplier in the Valley?? Apparently it comes in large mesh bags, is previously composted, so doesn't smell and costs about $8 per bag? Any comments from gardeners who have used it before?

    Janis,
Make sure it is STERILE!. Pigs can carry many diseases that can be communicated to humans.

If not, try mushroom manure, safe and low odor too! And only a few loonies or less a 20kg. bag.
