I have a photo suggestion: a close-up photo of the leaves of the Cotinus coggygria var. royal purple that's at the far side of the lawn next to the arbor. The purple leaves have orange edges and the orange leaves have purple edges - kind of a negative photo effect.

There are a lot of great colours in the garden right now, and that was my favourite. Oh, well, I had a second favourite, so here's another photo request: the icy-looking Piptanthus forrestii near the beginning of the garden walk.

Well, if you want a job done... Here are my attempts to capture these two shrubs. Here's what I think is a Cotinus.

I almost stepped on this mushroom, just off the main path into the garden, across from the piptanthus, if I remember correctly.

Great photos! I especially like the Piptanthus.
