I saw some beautiful hibiscus while visiting Washington Park in Denver last wkend.
I was told they are perennial and must have extremely cold winters to survive. I would like to send some to Tennessee where I think they would thrive. Would like to know what kind they may be and how and where I could order some. They had different colored flowers, very big and beautiful.
    Thanks for any suggesstions

Look for Hibiscus moscheutos, an herbaceous perennial with flowers as big as dinner plates. There are many varieties.

Not really, but they are not that difficult to find. You might find them at a local nursery if you are in North Georgia. Should be plenty of sources online as well.
