Identification: Pear Disease

Just purchased small farm here in Florida a year ago. The property has this old Pear tree with some sort of disease I would like to identify and treat. From the attached pictures can anybody tell me what I am dealing with?

 

Can anybody identify this pear disease and possible treatment?

 

Need a picture - if posted, didn't come through. Just a stab in the dark. Do the leaves look like they have strawberry jam on them? If so - look up pear trellis rust. barb
