    Good evening folks:

Very new to the forums and was glad I found this. My question is this---

I just purchased a Dwarf Peach tree from Lowes and planted it about three weeks ago. About a week or so ago, I noticed what I thought was damage from insects. As such, I sprayed the tree with liquid Sevin and noticed that a few days later, the leaves drastically worsened. I then checked out the web and noticed that #1, I should not have used Sevin and #2, I may have bacterial rot. But then Inoticed that the damage may be a result from the Sevin?

Any idea how I can differentiate between bacterial rot and damage caused by the insecticide? If it is bacterial rot - what can I do?

Also, I live in NY City.

    Thanks!!
