I bought my wife a Norfolk a couple weeks ago.
The main stalk is about two feet tall and there are three other slightly smaller ones growing up with it.
I'm wondering if these should be pruned. They give the plant a very full look but I've never seen one that wasn't a tall single trunk.
    thanks, bob

I had one like that too. I took the extra stems off and it ended up looking really bare. It also made it lean. In hind sight I think I should have left them on for a bushier plant. Up to you though. They do normally grow as a single stemmed plant in the wild but they can be coppiced, causing multi stems.
