Hi all - I am a new poster here, originally from the Kootenays in BC and now living in the desert of central WA. Looking forward to getting to know you and learning more! We are building a house next spring so I am always looking for landscaping ideas, particularly ones that involve white flowers and/or xeriscaping.

    Canada,
You have a great source of info just East of you - Washington State University @ Pullman. As our local Agriculture College, they run our State Master Gardener program. Check with your local County Agent and see if there is a chapter near you. Some have extension gardens or clinics where you can ask all sorts of question of experienced, local gardeners. Welcome to Washington and this wonderful forum. barb
