Last fall I took Magnolia seeds from my Fathers Tree, followed instructions (which I have lost )from this forum and now have 10 Little Plants. Now I would like to transplant them into bigger pots. The question is what type of soil do I transplant into for the winter as they are too small to be planted into the ground this year. The largest is about 4" high and about 6 leaves. Any help would be appreciated. Also would appreciate if someone could remind me where on this site I found the instructions for Wintering the Seed Pods I originated with last year. Thanks Nancy - Central Ontario
Sorry, I got confused, am removing what I typed. Nancy, it looks like you found instructions but didn't post anything at the time, is that right? You just replied to a thread. Is that the one you were looking for when you posted this request, so you don't need help finding anything now?
Is this the thread with the info on wintering the seeds? http://www.botanicalgarden.ubc.ca/forums/showthread.php?t=21344
