Hi folks. This beautiful purple flower just showed up in my peppers. It has kind of single petal similar to fern leaf peony however not as dense. In the picture it is in the foreground. The back of the flower was almost like a horn before fully developed
Please let me know if it is a annual or a perennial in zone 5b. I did not plant it so have no idea.
Thanking you in advance for one of the most knowledgeable plant botanical sites. You people are great
    Regards,
    Deb
